Waggener Edstrom scoops AOR for Hitachi Data Systems and F5 Networks

HONG KONG - Waggener Edstrom (WE) has been appointed as the agency-of-record for Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), a network storage solutions provider.

HDS is set to go beyond communicating with the IT sector. Olivia Pang, senior marketing manager for Hong Kong and Taiwan at HDS, said the services the company offers are applicable to a broad range of industries. WE is charged "to reach the right decision-makers and extend our influence beyond Hong Kong's IT market to a much larger audience," added Pang.

Separately, WE has also won communications duties for application delivery networking company F5 Networks.

"F5 Networks' mission is to give businesses a flexible architectural framework that improves IT agility and dynamically deliver services," said Linda Hui, managing director of Hong Kong, Taiwan and GCG strategic products development for F5 Networks Hong Kong.

Winnie Lai (pictured), vice president of Greater China at WE, said, "HDS and F5 show tremendous potential coming into the Hong Kong market." She added that WE is set to expand and transform the way people view HDS and F5.

WE is a public relations agency that focus heavily on the technology and digital sectors. The agency's client portfolio also includes Microsoft, HTC and Toshiba.
