Women to Watch 2024: Meet the exemplary women in APAC marketing and communications

Campaign Asia-Pacific announces its 12th annual Women to Watch, highlighting exceptional leaders and diverse talent powering the region's marketing boom.

Women to Watch 2024: Meet the exemplary women in APAC marketing and communications

Campaign is proud to announce this year's cohort of 34 outstanding women who are transforming the marketing and communications landscape across Asia-Pacific.

Now in its 12th year, the awards highlight the achievements of these leading professionals at a critical juncture for gender equality in the workplace. Industry research consistently shows the continuous challenges in achieving true workplace inclusivity, making the recognition of these accomplished women all the more important.

This year's honourees represent 12 markets across Asia-Pacific, including Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Pakistan, Taiwan and South Korea.

A big change in this edition is the consolidation of Women to Watch APAC and Women to Watch Greater China into a single standalone award: Women to Watch Asia-Pacific. As such, winners emerge from diverse sectors spanning independent agencies, global networks, media organisations, financial institutions, real estate, adtech, martech, public relations and healthcare communications. The award celebrates professionals across all stages of their career, from established industry veterans to emerging leaders poised for significant growth. What unites these individuals is their demonstrable track record of success and clear potential for continued achievement.

Our selection process, led by Campaign Asia-Pacific's senior editorial team comprising managing editor Rahat Kapur and senior reporter Minnie Wang alongside an external jury of industry experts, including Allison Chew, head of PR, brand and marketing, AIA Singapore; Arlene Gan, global head of implementation, transaction banking, Standard Chartered Bank; Joanne Xie, VP of marketing, McDonald's; Lilly Yip, APAC CMO and China Bev GM, PepsiCo; and Mellisa Lim, omni-channel marketing director, Vacheron Constantin, evaluated candidates based on business achievements, leadership excellence, collaborative approach, and industry impact. As the winners list showcases, the calibre of nominations remains exceptional, reflecting the true depth and experience of talent across the region.

Campaign Asia-Pacific extends its gratitude to all who participated in the nomination process. To those who weren't selected this year, we encourage continued participation as we remain committed to recognising outstanding talent across the region.

Congratulations to the 2024's honourees. Your achievements continue to set new benchmarks for excellence and innovation in marketing and communications across Asia-Pacific.
