Ant Simmons has been promoted to executive creative director at Ogilvy Melbourne. His promotion comes shortly after the departure of ECD Hilary Badger. Simmons joined the agency as group creative director in 2023.  He has previously founded his own agency Heartland, worked at Clemenger BBDO, Elmwood, and launched Do Water, Australia’s water brand sold in paper bottles.

Lee-Asha Dukhie has joined KC Global Media Asia as director and head of digital marketing. Dukhie has years of experience in ad sales and marketing for both digital and print media and is expected to drive innovative campaigns, increasing KC Global’s digital footprint. The firm has also decided to extend its relationship with its communications partner Serious Media. The appointment of Dukhie comes in the wake of several key leadership promotions announced last October.

Syed Mustafizur Rahman Shuvo has been appointed as the head of digital communications at Ngage360, the digital agency of SSL Wireless, a Bangladesh based software and IT services company. He moves from e-commerce marketplace Daraz and has previously worked with ADA.    

Ogilvy Singapore has promoted Sharon Ooi to chief talent officer for Singapore and Malaysia. With over two decades of experience in talent management across various industries, including advertising and logistics, Ooi will lead all people-related functions in Ogilvy's Singapore and Malaysia offices. She will focus on enhancing employee experiences, driving the agency's culture, and ensuring Ogilvy remains attractive to professionals. Before joining Ogilvy, Ooi held HR roles at Leo Burnett and Design Bridge Asia, and she has been instrumental in building Ogilvy's talent function, contributing to the agency being named Campaign's Agency of the Year Southeast Asia Best Culture in 2023.
 
The Hallway has announced leadership changes with the return of Dan Saunders as executive creative director and the appointment of Phoebe Keogh as head of media and connections. Saunders brings extensive experience from top agencies like TBWA, DDB, and Dentsu, having worked on global brands such as McDonald's and Amazon. He previously spent two years at The Hallway, creating award-winning campaigns for brands like Boody and Smooth FM. Keogh joins from UM Australia, where she led strategic efforts for brands like Menulog and ING. With her expertise in marketing strategy and audience insights, Keogh will aim to drive growth in The Hallway's connections department.
 
Independent full-service agency Enigma has announced the promotion of Justin Ladmore to chief media officer and Amy Dascanio to managing director. Dascanio, who previously served as general manager, will now lead Enigma's 40-member media team alongside managing directors Jack Mason and Joanna Lilley across the agency's Newcastle and Sydney offices. Ladmore, transitioning from his role as managing director, will focus on growth, strategy, and Enigma's connected creativity product in his new position. Both leaders bring extensive experience, with Dascanio having spent a decade at Enigma and previously working at MediaCom and Zenith Media. At the same time, Ladmore has been instrumental in building Enigma's media offering over the past 12 years, having also worked with MediaCom and GroupM.
 
D3, a media agency specialising in data-driven strategies, has appointed Lani Jamieson as general manager to lead its operational strategy and drive client outcomes. Jamieson brings nearly 18 years of media experience, including senior roles in Singapore and Australia, and was recently recognised for her leadership in the Asia-Pacific region. Her appointment coincides with D3's win of pet food brand ZIWI USA, for which D3 will manage a full-service media strategy across the USA and Canada. 
 
Lauren Hunt and Nick Zonnios, former senior leaders at Virgin Australia and CHEP PR, have launched Zonnios&Hunt, a communications consultancy focused on helping brands develop effective stories. The consultancy aims to provide solutions by utilising senior expertise throughout the client journey, from strategy to execution. Hunt and Zonnios bring experience in leading PR programmes across various sectors, including finance, automotive, and retail. They aim to deliver high-quality work by offering direct access to strategic counsel and creative thinking, ensuring clients receive senior-level expertise throughout their projects.

Carlsberg Hong Kong has been named the official partner of Kai Tak Sports Park, a multi-purpose sports venue at the site of the former Kai Tak Airport in Kowloon, Hong Kong. This collaboration aims to elevate event experiences by offering a diverse portfolio of high-quality beers across 266 taps throughout the venue. With advanced beer storage systems, Carlsberg ensures that spectators can enjoy fresh pints during international sports and music events, enhancing the overall experience at this world-class venue.

TBWA Sydney has made a series of senior-level hires. Elektra O’Malley comes on board as MD and Michael Hogg as chief strategy officer for the TBWA Group, including TBWA, Eleven, Fleishman Hillard, Fabric, +61 for Telstra and TBWA Media Arts Lab. An announcement about a new chief creative officer is expected in the next few weeks, following the recent exit of the agency's chief creative officer Evan Roberts. O’Malley moved from Anomaly in New York, where she was head of account management. She has previously worked for Johannes Leonardo and TBWA Chiat Day. Hogg moved from creative independent Emotive, where he was managing partner and chief strategy officer. He has previously worked with The Monkeys/Accenture Song (now Droga5) and Fallon London.

Fabulate, an Australian influencer marketing platform, has appointed Terri Owens as its client service and operations director. Owens was general manager of product, data and tech at GroupM Australia and New Zealand, with nearly a decade of experience from WPP’s GroupM and Mindshare.

Singapore-headquartered 1 Play Group has appointed PR entrepreneur Rachna Baruah to advise on the firm’s strategic communications as the startup charts its next growth and global expansion phase.Baruah will focus on structuring 1 Play Group’s India team and drive the company’s business narrative.

DDB Group Melbourne has promoted Giles Watson to executive creative director. Watson, who previously served as deputy ECD, will now lead the agency’s creative vision, working closely with chief creative officer Psembi Kinstan. He joined DDB in 2021 as a creative director, and he worked for Howatson+Company, Dentsu, Clemenger BBDO, Isober and McCann. 

DSTNCT, an integrated creative agency, has appointed Genevieve Sarah Loh as its director of content and strategic communications, effective immediately. Prior to DSTNCT, Loh was the founding member of CNA Lifestyle, shaping the publication's lifestyle and entertainment coverage for over 15 years.  

We Are Social has been appointed to lead the content creator strategy and engagement across Asia for H&M. The remit includes developing a regional content creator strategy, local market research and end-to-end content creator management. The account will be led out of the agency’s regional hub in Singapore, working closely with We Are Social’s in-market teams to execute locally.

The Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore, a regulator and facilitator of energy development, has appointed WE Communications as its communications agency of record over the next two years following a competitive pitch process. WE will be responsible for developing the strategic communications programme and social media campaigns focused on Singapore’s energy transition.  

Cheil Singapore managing director Anand Vathiyar has stepped down from his role. Vathiyar joined the agency in 2020. He was previously founder, managing director and executive creative at Up & Up before joining Cheil. Prior to that, he was creative head, Audi A-P at Bates Worldwide and a deputy creative director at Dentsu, Young and Rubicam. 

Zoo Group has hired Kayler Chong as its strategy planner. She was mostly recently strategy planner at Dentsu Creative. Her career spans from stints at VMLY&R, Maise and Dentsu Creative. Chong will report to Sean Badlishah, Zoo's managing director.

BBDO Worldwide has merged Australian agencies Clemenger BBDO, CHEP Network, and Traffik. The newly formed entity, simply named Clemenger, will aim to address a culture of transactional creativity and be led by Lee Leggett, the current CEO of CHEP. Dani Bassil, who returned to Australia in early 2023 to rebuild Clemenger, will be leaving the agency. The leadership team for the new entity is still in development, with positions such as chief creative officer and chief strategy officer yet to be filled. Global CEO Nancy Reyes noted that this merger marks just the beginning of a larger story, indicating further changes are anticipated.
 
GroupM Australia & New Zealand has bolstered its commerce team with the appointments of Veronica Li, Ben Grace, and Claudia Domingues. Li and Grace have joined as group directors of commerce strategy, bringing valuable experience from Publicis and SparkXGlobal, respectively. With expertise in retail media, Li will focus on enhancing client growth, while Grace coming from a background in data and technology, will work on advancing new advertising solutions. Meanwhile, Domingues returns to GroupM as head of commerce platforms, utilising her omnichannel expertise to integrate commerce and retail media. 
 
Dentsu Malaysia has appointed Bala Pomaleh as CEO of Media, marking his return to the network after nearly nine years as CEO of IPG Mediabrands Malaysia. With 20 years of management experience, Pomaleh previously led Carat Malaysia, part of Dentsu's media brands. His appointment follows a strong start to 2025 for Dentsu Malaysia, building on a transformative 2024. Under the leadership of CEO Audrey Chong, Dentsu Malaysia is poised to further integrate and innovate, with Pomaleh and Uday Desai, recently appointed managing director of Creative, strengthening the leadership team. Asahi has appointed Moon Rabbit Singapore as its creative agency for a 12 to 18-month contract, focusing on the Singapore market with potential expansion into Southeast Asia. Moon Rabbit will drive growth by leveraging Asahi's unique strengths and amplify its partnership with City Football Group, building on Manchester City's success to engage football fans. The agency will also work on Peroni, launching new campaigns based on its refreshed positioning. 
 
Cadillac has appointed 72andSunny as its local agency to support its Australian market expansion. The agency will adapt Cadillac's US strategy for local consumers, building on their existing relationship with 72andSunny LA, which started in 2024. This follows Cadillac's Australian debut with the fully electric Lyriq SUV in 2024. After completing initial brand work, 72andSunny will continue collaborating on creative projects as Cadillac grows in Australia.
