Subway appoints Saatchi Lab, Initiative in Singapore

SINGAPORE - Subway has appointed Saatchi Lab and Initiative Singapore as its new agencies, following a four-way competitive pitch.

Saatchi Lab is the retail, activation and design specialist team of Saatchi & Saatchi.

Karen Eidsvik, regional director from Subway Singapore, noted that both agencies demonstrated a strong understanding and enthusiasm for the brand and business.

“The two agencies clearly demonstrated a strong combination of consumer insight, market knowledge and powerful creative solutions that we are confident is going to help transform our business,” she added.

Ray Pak, general manager of Initiative Singapore, noted that the appointment was a team effort and evidence of its strong knowledge of the QSR category and passion for the brand.

Lionel Goh, general manager of Saatchi Lab, added, “The combination of Saatchi Lab and Initiative Singapore resulted in a creative solution that was the result of strong collaboration across both agencies. Subway is an iconic brand, and we are looking forward to delivering an innovative campaign that will take it from strength to strength in Singapore.”
