Spikes Asia 2020 to be held at Marina Bay Sands in October

New dates and new venue aim to expand Asia's largest creativity festival experience, with delegate passes available starting April 16.

Spikes Asia 2020 to be held at Marina Bay Sands in October

The Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity is on the move. It has announced that the 2020 Festival will be held at Singapore's iconic Marina Bay Sands from 14 through 16 October 2020, providing three days of celebration, learning and networking.

Festival director Joe Pullos says the changes will help take the region’s most prestigious event for the creative branded communications industry to the next level.

"This move will enable us to not only bring the entire festival under one roof across our four content stages, competitions and judging but also allow us to grow and add new programs and networking platforms—similar to the CMO Growth Council and See It Be It launched last year,” Pullos said. “I’m hugely excited to be announcing our investment in the future of Spikes Asia as we enter a new era of growth for Asia-Pacific’s most celebrated creative branded communications festival and awards show."

Coronavirus vigilance

Speaking on the coronavirus developments, Pullos added: “As the COVID-19 situation evolves around the world, the Spikes Asia team continues to monitor developments closely, while following the advice from relevant public health officials especially the Singapore Government. Our thoughts are with all those affected. As things stand, the Festival will take place as planned from 14 to 16 October 2020. We are working closely with our customers, our sponsors and the broader industry to ensure we hold a safe and successful event. Spikes Asia continues to put the health, wellbeing and safety of our customers and employees first.”

With the change in venue, Spikes Asia will be debuting a new cohesive hub for seminars, jury room judging, academies, competitions, and spaces for bespoke executive learning programs. The final awards show and after-party, culminating the event, will also be held at Marina Bay Sands.

In addition, the Festival is enhancing its attendees' experience by including complimentary lunch and refreshments with 2020 delegate passes. Spikes is also extending networking spaces for young talent and senior industry leaders.

The region’s best creative work will once again take centre stage with shortlisted work displayed in prominent exhibitions.

The Festival will open for delegate passes on April 16. Applications can be made via www.spikes.asia
