The account was won after a two-round pitch against three other undisclosed 4A agencies.

Publicis Shanghai is assigned to provide the full-range of advertising services to develop a new brand communication strategy, creative concepts, key visuals and packaging for Liushen.

Liushen is a personal care brand with a heritage in China, especially among those in their 30s. The brand's product portfolio includes eau de toilette, body wash and other body care products.

"This win represents a great opportunity for Publicis to demonstrate our expertise in the Chinese consumer market," said Sheena Jeng, CEO of Publicis China. "Our objective is to help Jahwa rejuvenate the Liushen brand with the most engaging and effective communication and marketing campaigns."

The century-old Shanghai Jahwa is one of the most important domestic companies for the development, manufacture and sale of personal care products and household chemicals in China. It offers bathing, skin care, hair care and beauty products under the Liushen, Maxam, Herborist, Chinfie, and GF names.
