In his new role, McCabe will be tasked to create insight studies to help clients lead in their categories and strenghten the Asia planning community.

"I will look at building the right mix of planning skills, with planners as true partners in the creative process," said McCabe on his appointment.

He will continue to report to Calvin Soh, vice-chairman and COO of Publicis Asia.

Earlier this month, Publicis bolstered their leadership with two new hires for digital arm Publicis Modem in Singapore. Valerie Cheng joins the company to a newly created ECD role and Earl Allen as general manager.
