PridePass: An aggregator for LGBTQ-friendly jobs in Singapore

ManpowerGroup Singapore is asking companies to tag their job listings with the hashtag #PridePass, and is pulling those listings out into a separate site to make it easier for LGBTQ people to search for opportunities in inclusive organisations.

The company has launched the initiaitve in partnership with VMLY&R, which has also produced a launch campaign including the posters above (here's a larger version) and the video below. 

Valerie Madon, chief creative officer for VMLY&R Asia, said PridePass is "a purposeful utility that will continue to help the LGBTQ community beyond Pride Month" and "a call for more companies to open their doors and create an inclusive and diverse work environment".

The site, which just launched, currently shows about 250 job listings. 

This is a simple yet powerful idea, and Ad Nut devoutly hopes more companies will not only tag their job listings but also make sure their workplaces are actually welcoming places to be. One hopes that eventually the need for PridePass will dissipate, as all workplaces recognise that they would only benefit by seeking out, hiring and nurturing LGBTQ talent.

Finally, although Ad nut really appreciates the effort here, and does not wish to besmirch the creators in any way, Ad Nut cannot help but take note of the irony that this excellent initiative comes from a company whose very name—'Manpower'—is not only antiquated but also antithetical to this cause and gender diversity in general. May Ad Nut kindly suggest that it might be time to think about a broader rebranding?
