McCann Worldgroup promotes Monica White to CEO of Thailand

BANGKOK - McCann Worldgroup has promoted Monica White (pictured) from managing director to CEO of McCann Thailand, effective immediately.

According to a statement, White’s promotion is in recognition of her outstanding leadership and contributions over the years.

She joined McCann Thailand in 1993 and has since taken on a variety of senior roles across the full range of McCann Worldgroup’s integrated offerings. She successfully ran the company while building its business in the market.

Michael McLaren, regional director of McCann Worldgroup Asia-Pacific, said: "Monica is the perfect fit for this important role. She has made a major contribution to our business and played a key role in solidifying the McCann Worldgroup structure, building our disciplines, and nurturing strong client relationships over the years in Thailand.”

“The move is in line with our strategy to empower and promote our local management teams as we see our marketplace continue to evolve. Monica is great with people. She's a Thai national with a deep knowledge and cultural understanding and she’s ready and motivated to take our business to new heights,” he added.
