Meanwhile after five years at the helm of Wunderman and Y&R Taiwan, Alice Hsu, GM, has decided to ‘pursue a new challenge’ outside of the group.

Wu, who is the co-founder of Agenda, is also the chairman of Internet Advertising and Media Association Taipei and appointed board member of The Audit Bureau of Circulations Taiwan.

Stephane Faggianelli, president of Wunderman Asia Pacific, said: “I am delighted to appoint James Wu to lead and manage our offices in Taiwan. He is a well-recognised figure in the industry and under his leadership we will grow further our operations in Taiwan. I am thankful for Alice Hsu’ contribution over the years and wish her best success in her new endeavors.”

Each operating company will remain independent as per its current marketing specialty and will benefit from the synergies of common management and leadership.

Wunderman Taiwan's key accounts include Diageo, Microsoft and Land Rover; Agenda Taiwan is currently servicing Nokia, Carrefour, HSBC/Direct, Ikea, ANZ, China Trust Commercial Bank and FarEasTone; while Y&R has Colgate and Acer.
