Lin (pictured) replaces Wu, the co-founder of AGENDA Taiwan, who had added the extra hats of MD of Wunderman and Y&R in February 2011.

Wunderman explained that Wu, who has been with AGENDA for 14 years, "has decided to pursue new interests outside of the advertising industry".

Lin, an 18-year ad industry veteran, came on board on 18 September. He has spent the past 12 years at Leo Burnett and Arc Worldwide as executive vice-president and general manager, respectively. He also previously worked for JWT and Grey in Taiwan.

Wunderman and AGENDA offices have more than 120 staff in Taiwan. Some of the key client portfolios of Wunderman include Microsoft, Land Rover, Diageo, while AGENDA serves Nokia, Carrefour and Colgate, among others.

Wunderman said Lin will bring to the company “an impressive track record in Taiwan, building robust operations and bringing digital and mobile innovation”.

Meanwhile Leo Burnett has hired Jason Dong to fill Lin's VP role. Dong has over 20 years of marketing communications experience both agency-side and client-side, including roles as marketing manager of Disney Entertainment in Singapore, sales director of CTN TV station in Taiwan. Before joining Leo Burnett, he was MD of Lintas Shanghai.

Accross the Strait, Wunderman has hired Sunny Hermano as general manager of Agenda Shanghai and creative veterans Chris Jones as its first ECD in China.
