Hearst appoints Edwards president and CEO

LONDON - Hearst Magazines International, who are in a joint venture with the South China Morning Post Group to publish Chinese versions of Cosmopolitan and Harper's Bazaar in Hong Kong and Macau, has appointed Duncan Edwards (pictured) president and CEO of the company replacing outgoing George J Green.

Edwards, CEO of UK-based The National Magazine Company a Hearst subsidiary since 2005, will relocate to New York in the summer to take up his new role.

Edwards joined NatMag in 1989 and held various executive roles including publisher of Company magazine, director of business development and managing director.

Hearst Magazines International handles Hearst Magazines that are not based in the UK or USA.
