Butcher will oversee operations for both publications in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Auckland, in addition to managing all regional third-party sales representatives.

Butcher has rejoined the organisation after a stint of four years running his own independent media sales firm, Butcher and Partners. He has worked as a senior publishing executive at Time Inc, as well as regional publisher of Fortune and president of Time and Fortune International.

In a statement, Time and Fortune International president Richard Evans noted Butcher’s “wealth of experience” in the Asian media industry. “I am pleased to have an executive of his calibre to spearhead our sales organisation in the Asia and South Pacific regions,” Evans said.
