The SG Changi consortium was selected by the Singapore Sports Council in March this year to design, build, finance and manage the Changi Motorsports Hub which is expected to be operationally-ready by the end of 2011.

Billed as Asia's premier motorsports and entertainment centre, SG Changi will invest S$330 million (US$213 million) to develop the project.

When completed, the new facility will feature a race track, a karting track and will seat up to 20,000 spectators.

Fulford PR will be charged with generating publicity surrounding the Hub’s activities with a groundbreaking event on-site set to take place later in 2010.

On the appointment, Thia Yoke Kian, director of SG Changi, said: “We are delighted to have Fulford PR onboard as our communications agency, given their extensive motorsports experience.”

He added: “We look forward to working together as we embark towards developing Asia’s premier motorsports and entertainment centre.”
