Audi spot follows romance between moth and headlights

Audi has released three spots for the launch of its SQ6 e-tron, the newest member of its fully-electric SUV range.

Created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty London, “Audio design love stories” focuses on the “emotive elements” of the electric vehicle—light, sound and vision.

One 34-second film explores light and tells a love story between a moth and the SQ6 e-tron’s interactive dynamic head light signatures.

Two supporting spots also capture the dichotomy between tech and nature, featuring an SQ6 full of fish swimming around in the calming glow of the car’s ambient lighting and an owl being captivated by the integrated headrest speakers.

The work was directed and animated by The Berry Boys, with animation support from Tape. It was created by Uche Ezugwu and Nick Gill.

Media planning and buying was handled by PHD.
