Tanya Phathanathong

Head of growth
ADA Asia
Thailand

Tanya Phathanathong’s life story is nothing short of inspiring. At just 13, she moved to Canada alone, a bold step that laid the foundation for her fearless career in marketing. After discovering her love for advertising in university, Phathanathong shifted her focus from finance to digital marketing. Her return to Thailand then marked the beginning of a dynamic career. As the digital director of Havas Thailand, she secured high-profile clients like Porsche and Netflix. She then took on the challenge of building Blis' Thai business from the ground up, expanding her expertise into advertising technology and management consulting.

In her current role as head of growth at ADA Thailand, Phathanathong has driven over $2.5 million in revenue. Her work on campaigns for BMW, UOB, and Haw Par Tiger Balm contributed to ADA being shortlisted for various awards this year. Similarly, she also organises quarterly dinners and cross-functional ‘lunch and learn’ sessions to foster collaboration and improve workplace culture. Her dedication to inclusion and team empowerment resulted in a remarkable 80% increase in office attendance.

Phathanathong’s commitment to industry advancement is evident in her contributions beyond ADA Asia. She is a mentor, keynote speaker, and active member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, inspiring women to overcome adversity and lead with confidence. She also played a key role in organising the BFSI roundtable, gathering over 30 top executives to explore data and AI’s role in shaping Thailand’s banking sector. She continues to share her journey of resilience at International Women’s Day events and as an executive mentor for ADA Asia.

Phathanathong’s leadership redefines success—not just in business growth but in nurturing an inclusive culture and inspiring change. Her commitment to innovation, team empowerment, and diversity makes her a true Woman to Watch.
