After year-long pitch, the agency's Shanghai shop will take on a variety of digital creative work.

BMW China has added Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai as a creative agency partner, following a year-long, multi-agency pitch, the agency has confirmed.

The brand will continue working with current digital agency Interone, and W+K Shanghai will be responsible for "a variety of digital creative work including marketing campaigns and platform development" for BMW China.

The account is worth an estimated US$20 million in billings, according to R3.

“BMW is one of the world’s great brands," Bryan Tilson, MD of W+K Shanghai said in a release. "We’re proud to be partnering with them in China and share their ambition of delivering breakthrough creative work that elevates the brand to new heights in this market. ”
