Thailand's True Digital selects Iponweb to consolidate digital inventory

TECH BITES: True Digital Group chief revenue officer said Iponweb's solution will allow it to upsell digital video inventory and reach new customer segments.

Thailand's True Digital selects Iponweb to consolidate digital inventory

Thailand's True Digital has selected Iponweb as its technology partner to unify its systems and enable advertisers to purchase its inventory via a single platform.

True Digital Group is the digital arm of telecommunications and digital service provider True Corporation. True Digital operates lifestyle and entertainment digital platform, TrueID, and Android TV platform, TrueID TV. It offers advertisers digital inventory across more than a hundred linear OTT, video, and SMS channels, with advanced audience targeting capabilities.

Iponweb's TV marketplace system will enable the aggregation, packaging, and purchase of its digital video, SMS, and over-the-top (OTT) inventory via a single platform. The move will make it easier for advertisers of all sizes, including small businesses new to digital advertising, to plan and book geo and audience-targeted cross-channel campaigns while creating new revenue streams for True Digital Group.

Similar to pure digital campaigns, buyers will be able to select from bespoke advertising packages by utilising advanced data, geo, and audience targeting data. Buyers can also rest assured that the data used has been aligned with related law.

True Digital Group chief revenue officer Marco Guida said the solution will allow it to "upsell new digital video inventory in a non-programmatic way to existing clients, while also reaching out to new customer segments".

“As video continues to evolve in the digital world, we needed a technology that would future proof us for all inventory types, including advanced video for a fully automated trading environment," he added.
