Text 100 adds Hong Kong to existing partnership with Symantec

HONG KONG - Security, storage and systems management solutions company Symantec has handed its regional public relations duties for the Norton brand to Text 100 Hong Kong, effectively immediately.

Text 100 adds Hong Kong to existing partnership with Symantec

Text 100 is already working with Symantec in Singapore, Australia and Malaysia. Hong Kong was added to the scope of the account without a pitch.

“We’ll be able to draw on the extensive knowledge other teams in our network have built up through several years of working with Symantec," said Erica Pompen, VP and APAC digital lifestyle practice lead of Text 100.

Norton is part of Symantec’s consumer business.

“As we continue to educate consumers about digital dangers and enable them to ‘deny’ cybercrime, we are looking forward to Text 100 supporting the Norton brand with a highly creative, yet locally relevant, PR programme across Asia,” added Sumrita Chander, group manager of consumer PR for APAC and Japan at Symantec.
