SINGAPORE – The inaugural Business Superbrands awards paid tribute to the most established B2B brands in Singapore.

Superbrands, which celebrates the best and most valued brands in more than 80 countries around the world, for the first time this year paid tribute in an award ceremony, to the strongest and most valuable business-to-business brands based on their performance in Singapore.

Thirty-one businesses were identified: Best World Lifestyle, Boustead, Cables International, City Gas, DHL, D-Link, Epicentre, HG Metal, Hiap Seng, Holcim, HSR, iFast, Linde Gas, Lorenzo, Nielsen, PaperOne, PowerPlus, Redwood, Ryobi Kiso, Seraya Energy, Singapore EXPO, Singapore Post, SingTel, SONY, Sunray, Swissco, Tuas Power, UGL Premas, UGS, United Engineers Limited, and Xpress.

Participation in the Business Superbrands programme is strictly by invitation only, and awardees receive a Mark of Excellence and recognition that the brand has established the finest reputation in its field.

Mark Pointer, CEO of Superbrands Singapore said, “To achieve Business Superbrands status companies must have an outstanding reputation, significant market share and achieve a high level of brand recognition in order to be able to qualify. Membership of Business Superbrands provides the brand with an exclusive marketing platform to leverage its Business Superbrands status with both internal and external stakeholders, and is a tool that may be used to help develop and grow new business relationships both at home and overseas.”
