Spikes jury unveils short-list for TV/Cinema, Integrated and Craft category

ASIA-PACIFIC - Spikes Asia 2010 has unveiled the short-list for four categories namely: TV/Cinema, Integrated, TV/Cinema Craft and Print Craft.

This year, the TV/ Cinema category received a total of 417 entries from 19 countries, with Japan topping the list in this category, followed by India and Australia with 57 and 49 entries respectively.

Thailand topped the short-list with 12 entries, followed by Australia with seven and Indonesia with six. The largest number of entries came from the Southeast Asia region with 21 entries short-listed in total.

In the Craft category, which includes TV/Cinema and Print, there were 111 entries from 16 countries and 135 entries from 11 countries respectively.

Australia and India dominated this category. Australia led the TV/Cinema category contributing 33 entries of which 16 were short-listed, while India led the Print Craft category with 31 entries of which 13 were short-listed.

And finally, the Integrated category received 82 entries from 15 countries, honouring campaigns with at least three different media mixes. The maximum number of entries were contributed by Singapore with 12 followed by Australia, China and Japan, tying with 10 entries each. However, interestingly, it was Australia and New Zealand which took the top-spot with four short-lists each.
