Singapore Navy shortlists three agencies for creative account

SINGAPORE - The Republic of Singapore Navy has shortlisted three agencies including Dentsu, Y&R and incumbent Saatchi & Saatchi for its creative agency review.

Up to five agencies were reportedly involved in the initial stages of the review before the field was narrowed to three.

The Singapore Navy had first put out the tender in December last year for an advertising agency to take on marketing and publicity for the defence force and its recruitment drives.

The account is believed to be subject to obligatory biennial reviews and has been held by Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore for the past 25 years.
