Road Safety Council appoints DT Communications for new project

HONG KONG – The Road Safety Council has appointed DT Communications Asia-Pacific as the official PR agency for educational and promotional efforts around elderly pedestrian safety in Hong Kong.

The agency will be responsible for developing a territory-wide campaign to raise public awareness of elderly pedestrian safety. According to a statement from the agency, the council aims to reduce the frequency and severity of traffic accidents involving the elderly.

The campaign will feature elderly celebrities such as actress Lee Heung Kam. DT Communications will also be responsible for tracking the impact of the campaign across traditional, online and social media channels.

Other clients within the DT Communications’ portfolio include the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the Hong Kong Buildings Department, and the Hong Kong Internet Technology Federation.
