Wang is a budding Taiwanese actor who shot to fame in the past two years after publishing a near-nude portrait album that proved especially popular among married women, a local ECD commented.

According to a local media report, Ovaltine undertook a street survey targeting 200 women aged 19 to 39 matching beverages with male celebrities, which divided male celebrities into four categories:  'chocolate malt', 'cocktail', 'tea' and 'mineral water'. Wang got the highest scores of 87 per cent and scooped the 'chocolate malt guy' title.

Over the past two years, Wang has been a popular ambassador for brands including Panasonic's healthcare products, Kappa, Men’s Biore and 7-Eleven. He was invited to the James Bond’s 50th anniversary event as the brand ambassador in search of 'Bond Girls in Taiwan' earlier this month.

As reported in June, Coca-Cola launched a new black Oolong tea product in Taiwan called Sokenbicha, with Vic Chou as brand ambassador.
