SYDNEY - Leo Burnett Sydney has won Ebay's creative duties following a four-way pitch that also involved Host, BMF and Whybin TBWA.

Ebay will partner will Leo Burnett to develop a major consumer facing marketing creative. According to Hamish Stone, head of marketing at Ebay Australia, Leo Burnett's selection was down to a healthy balance of creativity and thinking within a solid agency with a boutique feel.

"The team at eBay is looking forward to working with Leo Burnett to move consumers’ perceptions of our brand and offer, through innovative and creative marketing that stands out in the cluttered retail marketing space,” he added.

Todd Sampson, CEO of Leo Burnett said, “eBay is a brilliant global brand with big ambitions. We are lucky to have them as a client and have lots of ideas on how to help them grow their business. It has been another year of record growth for us and we are very proud of this win."
