The McCann Worldgroup agencies have been charged with public relations strategies and event marketing communications activities following a pitch.

Weber Shandwick will roll out total communications activities for HMC Polymers while Momentum Worldwide will oversee the company’s events and activities.

The first project will see the two agencies launch the company’s “Spherizone Technology” in the last quarter of this year.

Spherizone technology is a new process that provides an economical and efficient method of manufacturing a growing range of resins and is set to be the new benchmark for polypropylene production.

HMC Polyymers was the first polypropylene manufacturing facility in Thailand in 1987. The company is currently developing two more plants in the country.

Weber Shandwick had promoted Lalana Santos to the post of managing director of Weber Shandwick Thailand in June .
