Napoleon Biggs, chief strategy officer at Gravitas, will see his role expand to include the title of managing director of Inspire Digital.

"Gravitas has grown into a group," explained Biggs. "We have mobile ad network, Amaze Mobile Media, and to complement that we've launched Inspire, which is formed from the sales, creative and strategy teams at Gravitas."

Gravitas will continue to be a technology hub working with Inspire and Amaze, he added.

"The advantage for Inspire is that we start with a team of 15 and we go to market supported by 50 people who know how to make stuff for mobile," said Biggs."The digital marketing industry is getting very specialised and having the technical know-how to work across social and mobile is an advantage."

Gravitas is also in the process of transitioning some clients to Inspire.

The new firm will build on Gravitas’s decade of mobile marketing experience by adding expertise in digital engagement strategy, social media marketing and campaign analytics. "Gravitas has always had a marketing element, but Inspire will raise it to a new level."

The launch of Inspire also ties in with the group's regional ambitions. According to Biggs, Gravitas is planning to launch an office in Singapore by the end of the first quarter, with interviews for new hires there starting at the end of January.
