In his new role, effective immediately, Mishra will focus on building capability in social media marketing and online reputation management across the region. He will also be responsible for strengthening MS&L Group's properietary tools and processes, building external partnerships and working closely with fellow Publicis agencies including Vivaki, Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis Worldwide.
Former Asia digital director at MS&L Group Josh Shapiro will continue working with Mishra and spend more time on his primary role as business director for the region. Mishra will also work closely with the MS&L digital teams in Europe and North America.
Mishra joins from his role as CEO and co-founder of 2020 Social, following Publicis Group's majority stake acquisition in the social media consulting firm. Previous roles include senior marketing positions at Tata Group and teaching a graduate course on social media.
He will continue working with 2020 Social, as well as 20:20 Media and Hanmer MS&L, in his new role.
