Former GM of McCann Erickson Shanghai takes senior role at SapientNitro China

SHANGHAI - Ame Tang, who resigned from the GM role at McCann Erickson Shanghai in January, has joined SapientNitro China in a regional account director's role.

Campaign Asia-Pacific has confirmed Tang’s appointment with the agency.

Tang joins ex McCann veteran Jason Chau, who took up the MD role at SapientNitro in December 2011 after working for MRM Worldwide formore than a decade, with his last post being MD of Greater China.

Neither Tang nor Chau could be reached for comment at press time. 

McCann Shanghai is reportedly still looking for a replacement for its general manager role.
