TunTun English under mother company Unibooks, is a leading children English education company in Korea. Diamond Ogilvy has won out against Hancomm, Campaigners and incumbent agency History Com in the pitch.

The private institution is planning to rebrand with an upgraded image through a new 2011 marketing strategy. It aims to break away from the home schooling English material supplier. The intiative is to start with television and print campaigns.

“The success is largely attributed to a strategic approach to differentiate and highlight TunTun English’s unique learning method from other competitors, especially within too severe competition within private English education market out of over-supply of new institutions, private tutoring and home school materials,” says Leeki Lee, group account director of Diamond Ogilvy.
