Liu will be based in Shanghai and report directly to KF Lee, CEO of Aegis Media Greater China.

He will be tasked with integrating digital technology such as mobile, digital LEDs and retail marketing across out-of-home (OOH) media.

“OOH has the potential to create a new vision for the whole industry through broadband capability and mobile devices," said Liu.

He will also forge consumer insights in OOH planning and cement relationships with key OOH players in the mainland China and Taiwan regions.

Prior to joining Posterscope, he was the co-founder at Fun Party, a 70-per-cent owned subsidiary company of Cash Box–the biggest karaoke network in China and Taiwan.

Before that, he was with Initiative from 2002 to 2009 in China, and spent six years at Power Multi-Media Group in Taiwan.

“David’s career path has given him the opportunity to gain management experience across diverse media categories. This experience will be invaluable,” Lee commented.
