China tops Media's 2009 Creative Rankings
Topping the list of creative talent are Yang Yeo (pictured), chief creative officer at JWT Shanghai, and Sheung Yan Lo, JWT’s ECD for North Asia and chairman for China. In third place is Spencer Wong, managing director for McCann Worldgroup Hong Kong and national creative director for Hong Kong and China.

JWT was found to be the region’s most successful network, followed by BBDO and Ogilvy; the top three leading offices were Dentsu in Tokyo, BBDO/Proximity in Kuala Lumpur and JWT in Mumbai.

The Creative Rankings focuses on the ECDs driving their agencies’ recognition at major awards shows, including Cannes Lions, Spikes, AdFest and the AMEs. Rankings were compiled following consultation with regional creative heads.
