Campaigns & Grey Philippines wins Boehringer Ingelheim's Dulcolax business

MANILA - Pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim has appointed Campaigns & Grey Philippines to handle the creative for its laxative brand, Dulcolax.

Campaigns & Grey will handle Dulcolax's regional TV campaign.

According to Mely Guerrero, consumer health care group brand manager at Boehringer Ingelheim, “Partnering with Campaigns & Grey on the regional TV campaign has been a challenging but rewarding venture. They have surpassed our expectations on creativity, quality of account servicing and turnaround of deliverables. We felt the agency’s genuine support and ownership to make the campaign a success.”

Henry Chua, management supervisor of Campaigns & Grey Philippines, said, “Although the Dulcolax business was awarded via a global alignment through Grey Healthcare Group, this win was a great achievement for us as we were presented with an opportunity to expand our healthcare portfolio."

Campaigns & Grey had previously worked with Boehringer Ingelheim on its vitamin brand Pharmaton. Chua said this gave them the edge in understanding the client and their expectations.

He added that the Dulcolax work which was locally originated also appeals to the regional market. “We are positive about having created communications that projects Dulcolax in fresh new ways, and we hope to help grow the brand in the country and around the region,” Chua says.

The positive relationship between Boehringer Ingelheim and Campaigns & Grey also prompted the pharmaceutical company to award the public relations mandate for Dulcolax to Campaigns & Grey’s public relations arm, Campaigns PR Inc.
