Euro RSCG claimed creative duties for the Pharmaton vitamin supplement, previously handled by Ogilvy & Mather, and Buscopan abdominal pain-relief tablets, formerly with Leo Burnett.

BI had called for a review of its incumbent agencies to consolidate its consumer health care business into a single agency. The company had already picked Euro for its Bisolvon cough remedy and Dulcolax laxative brands over incumbent Ace Saatchi & Saatchi late in 2007.

Norman Agatep, MD of Euro RSCG Manila, noted: "The selection was based on the strength of our strategic thinking, creative execution, dedicated servicing and campaign results."

In March, the pharmaceuticals giant handed its 150 million pesos (US$4 million) media business to Aegis Media agency Vizeum/Media Force.
