To give you a flavour of the success stories that get sent our way, and to prove that the women we choose truly own their place on the list, we want to highlight just a few of last year's winning candidates who have achieved great things even in the short time since being named Women to Watch. Those we don't mention are no less deserving of credit: find the profiles of all the Women to Watch 2017 here.
Marianne Admardatine
A stalwart of the Indonesian PR industry with over 20 years experience, Admardatine is known for breaking long standing PR traditions and pioneering an influence-driven model of communication. Just four months after we named her in our Women to Watch list, Admardatine was promoted from MD of Ogilvy PR to Indonesia CEO for JWT and Mirum.
Lynette Chong
Featuring on the Women to Watch list at just 26, Chong is general manager of Phibious in Myanmar, an agency that she built from the ground up, winning 12 clients in just eight months and expanding her team from six to 23. On Chong's watch, Phibious won gold for Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos (CML) Independent Agency of the Year 2017 at Campaign's Agency of the Year Awards.
Imogen Hewitt
The former chief strategy officer for Havas Media was promoted in November (following her inclusion on the 2017 Women to watch list) to group managing director of Havas Group. Hailed a "leader, mentor, strategy guru and a champion of industry issues", Hewitt is said to be "peerless".
If you know someone whose successes are stacking up like these and whose future looks brighter than bright, we'd love to hear about them — and to help you share their stories. Below are all the guidelines you need to enter Women to Watch 2018: Good luck!
What is Women to Watch?
Women to Watch is an annual list of 40 women published by Campaign Asia-Pacific. It is collated by Campaign in partnership with TBWA\.
Why should I nominate someone?
The list aims to celebrate and be a cheerleader for outstanding female achievers who work in the media, marketing, advertising and communications industry across Asia-Pacific.The women on this list are typically not women who have yet reached the very top of their professions, but they’re on their way up, they’re doing great things and they are clearly capable of a lot more. We want to champion them on their way. Those who make the list will be honoured with in-depth profiles in Campaign Asia-Pacific, shared across all our platforms.
Who can I nominate?
Nominees can work in any discipline within media, marketing, communications and advertising and there is no maximum or minimum age barrier. You are allowed to nominate up to two names from your company or regional network. To be clear, this means that if you are an independent brand or agency, you can nominate up to two women from each market when you have an office. If you work for an agency that is part of a regional network, you can nominate up to two women per agency per market. The only condition is that the person must work in a market in Asia Pacific, which includes Australia and New Zealand.
While we will consider candidates from other Campaign Asia-Pacific listings, such as 40 Under 40 or Digital A-List, we do ask that candidates wait until 2019 if they have already been featured in any of these lists within the last 12 months.
What's the deadline?

Ready to enter? Here's how!
This link takes you to the Women to Watch entry form. Because we know it takes some time to compose an entry, there is also an option to download a Word copy of the entry form first, which you can work on and then upload later. The entry form consists of your nominee’s details, your own details and then the answers to five questions about the person, each limited to 500 words. We also need a high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi) recent photograph of the nominee. The cost of entry is US$280 per candidate.
That’s it! Any questions? Send them to [email protected] and we’ll help.
We look forward to receiving your entries and hearing about the amazing women you work with.
