Budweiser launches 6v6 global promo in Vietnam with Cream
Cream has developed local creative work to support the beer brand’s global initiative and the current campaign aims to get consumers to register online to compete for a place in the finals of the football tournament, which will be held at Old Trafford Manchester in May.

Xavier Codron, MD of Budweiser TCB Vietnam, said: “We’ve got visually arresting creative and a once-in-a-lifetime experience on offer - this is precisely how we’ll build leadership equity for the Budweiser brand in Vietnam.”

“Bud 6v6 is a great campaign - young Vietnamese men love their football and their beer, offering them a chance to represent their country - at Old Trafford, is a wonderful means by which to seed Budweiser’s premium credentials in the hearts and minds of passionate Vietnamese fans,” added Brenden Arnold, founder of Cream.

Cream is an independent advertising agency that was started after being invited to vie for Budweiser’s creative business in mid-2008.

Since winning the business, the independent agency has already developed and implemented local creative for three Budweiser campaigns for the Beijing Olympics, a Manchester United sponsorship drive and for Tet - Vietnam’s festive season and largest beer sales period.
