Absolut vodka has launched a global campaign centred on the theme 'in an Absolut world, every drink is an exceptional experience'.

The campaign celebrates cocktail culture and Singapore is due to get its taste of the work this month.

Venues along Clarke Quay, the popular bar and restaurant street, in Singapore will be giving away free cocktails. Absolut fans can subscribe to the Clarke Quay e-guide to get their complimentary drink at participating bars including The Arena, Azzucar!, Crazy Elephant, Marrakesh and Shanghai Dolly.

In support of the campaign, Absolut has set up an iPhone application called Drinkspiration. The application recommends different drinks according to your mood, the weather and the time of the day. It updates users on current global drinking trends and also shares information through Facebook and Twitter.

On a global level, creative agency TBWA has partnered with renowned fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth. The campaign called on Hollywood actresses Kate Beckinsale and Zoey Deschanel and the result is four print ads capturing the essence of classic cocktails like Absolut Bloody, Cosmo, Twist and Crush. These ads will appear in Singapore this March.
