Matheson was previously in charge of regional planning at Ogilvy before relocating to New York to join BBDO. For the past two years, he has served as director of behavioural planning for North America.

Sinnock joined Ogilvy in Singapore from the UK, where he was marketing director at ASDA, a major discount supermarket chain. Paul Heath, chairman of Ogilvy & Mather Asia-Pacific, said that Sinnock would “look for ways to share opportunities and increase collaboration” between the two agencies.

Matheson will be based in Hong Kong. His appointment is effective from the end of August.
