AXN HD debuts on Thailand's Truevisions

SINGAPORE - AXN HD has debuted on Thai pay-TV platform Truevisions, following launches in South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.

AXN HD is currently available as part of a package of 11 HD channels on TrueVisions’ digital cable pay-TV service. It joins Sony Pictures' standard definition stablemates AXN, AXN Beyond and Animax.

"With AXN HD, we hope to meet the demands of consumers in Thailand who are increasingly embracing HD content offerings," said Ricky Ow, senior vice president and general manager, Networks, Asia, Sony Pictures Television.

Subscribers of AXN HD in Thailand can expect to catch AXN’s staples in high definition, includingthe CSI franchise as well as new programmes Teen WolfJustified (second season), Spring Wipeout and the Guys Choice Awards.
