Vivo Thailand, in collaboration with Grey Thailand, has chosen to honour this complexity through their Teacher’s Day 2025 (January 16) campaign. At its centre is teacher Waree, an educator who has dedicated 40 years to shaping young lives with the care of a parent and the precision of a mentor. In Thailand, where teachers are culturally esteemed as second parents and the wisdom of elders is deeply regarded, this narrative carries particular resonance.
The nearly three-and-a-half minute film introduces a variety of students, from the model pupils to the mischievous class clowns, each reflecting on their unique relationship with their teacher and questioning whether they’ve left an impression on her.
The campaign’s emotional core unfolds in 'Always in My Eyes', a poignant exhibition that lies at the heart of the story. As students step into the space, they are met with their portraits, captured through the lens of the Vivo V40. But it is not the technical perfection of the images that lingers—it is the deeply personal messages accompanying each photograph. Waree has carefully crafted notes for every student, recalling shared moments and offering words of encouragement, tailored to their individual journeys. The exhibition becomes an extension of her classroom, a testament to her enduring belief in their potential. The film concludes with her quiet yet profound sentiment: No matter how much time passes, she will always want the very best for her students.
