Aktiv Digital to sell BBC.com in the Philippines

MANILA – BBC.com has appointed media sales house Aktiv Digital as its exclusive sales partner for the Philippines market.

According to a statement, the BBC.com website reaches 169,000 users a month in the Philippines.

Inez Albert, digital sales director for Asia at BBC.com, said, “Having a partner on board to manage our local sales in this important market is going to really open up the opportunity for brands to reach our audience in the Philippines.”

Aktiv Digital has put Kath Atienza in charge of the client as account manager.

BBC.com registers 8.4 million visitors in Asia-Pacific per month, accounting for over 16 per cent of its page views from around the world.

"BBC.com provides a world class vehicle for brands to showcase themselves and has a large, affluent and loyal audience. We look forward to providing access to the site for brand advertisers,” says Matt Sutton, managing director at Aktiv Digital .
