2019 Cannes contenders: 'Para Pingpong Table' by TBWA Hakuhodo
We asked creative leaders from across the region choose the work they expect (or hope) to see winning at Cannes Lions this year. See all this year's Cannes contenders.

Contender: Para Pingpong Table
Agency: TBWA Hakuhodo
Client: Japan Para Table Tennis Association

Nominated by:

Ryo Miyakawa, creative director, front-end engineer, Monopo Tokyo:

We don’t usually consider how people with disabilities feel in everyday situations. This is something that everyone can feel, and it extends beyond table tennis. The models are high quality and give a real sense of the work you have to put in to overcome these difficulties. The tagline reminds us that while things might be inconvenient, nothing is impossible.
