Facebook sales director for Asia has moved to Spotify

SINGAPORE - Facebook's former director of sales in Asia-Pacific, Sunita Kaur has joined Spotify as director of sales in Asia.

Based in Singapore, Kaur joined Facebook in January 2011 from Microsoft Advertising, where she was an associate director of Singapore and international accounts for a year and a half. 

Her roles before that also include three years as advertising director for Asia-Pacific and Middle East for Forbes.com and sales director for the lifestyle magazines of Singapore Press Holdings. 

At the time of publication, neither Spotify or Facebook had responded with official comment. 

Update, 1 pm: A Facebook spokesperson replied that the company is seeking a replacement for the position.
