Singapore Red Cross | Everyday Heroes | Singapore

Following the success of the 'Are You My Type' campaign earlier this year, the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) has along with McCann Healthcare Worldwide Singapore, launched another integrated campaign for 2009/10.

The campaign also coincides with the SRC’s 60th Anniversary in Singapore and can be seen outdoors and through collaterals and events including a carnival and photo exhibition as well as radio spots to support the drive.

The campaign builds on SRC’s vision to create engagement, relevance and behavioural change towards blood donation among younger Singaporeans.

Sean Riley, ECD at McCann Healthcare Worldwide Singapore said: “Titled Everyday Heroes, the campaign shows how individuals among us who donate blood regularly are in fact saving lives every single day. Through quantifying the effects of the donors’ contribution and juxtaposing that with their everyday lives, the idea reinforces the crucial need for blood donors in a positive way.”

Rohit Sahgal, MD of McCann Healthcare Worldwide Singapore, added that his agency looked forward to extending its latest campaign for SRC into 2010 to help achieve its goals and vision set out as part of a three-year plan.

'Are You My Type' was aried in February.
