Amazon Business ad helps Leonardo Da Vinci stay on track with his inventions

The campaign was created by Joint.

Amazon Business has launched a campaign showcasing its "Smart business buying" solutions through a humorous commercial "starring" Leonardo da Vinci.

"Leo's inventions", created by Joint, brings one of the most famous Renaissance artists and inventors into the 21st century in a 40-second film, highlighting how Amazon Business can simplify procurement for companies of all sizes.

Set against the backdrop of 15th-century Florence, the ad reimagines da Vinci’s world with a playful twist.

The polymath is seen tackling his administrative tasks with ease, thanks to Amazon Business’ streamlined solutions with a soundtrack Let Me Blow Ya Mind by Eve.

The film was directed by Traktor through Stink and the creatives were Steve Wioland, Matt Woolner, Gary Anderson and Michael Durban.

With post-production by Rascal, music supervision by Finger Music and sound design by Wave, the ad is designed to brings to life the practical benefits of Amazon Business.

Algy Sharman, chief creative officer at Joint, said: "It has been great to work with the team at Amazon Business again. The idea that Leonardo Da Vinci could see his inventions come to life is such a fun one, and it was a joy to see it come together."

The release of the campaign follows Amazon Business' "Run a tighter ship" push, also created by Joint, which it released in July.
