Y&R Thailand wins Siam Kubota

BANGKOK - Siam Kubota Corporation Co Ltd has awarded all its creative duties to Y&R Thailand.

The agency will handle all strategic direction, creative work and branding for the Siam Kubota brand and its products. It will produce five campaigns to run in Thailand next year.

Sanjay Bhasin, CEO of Y&R Thailand, commented on the appointment, “This is a real coup for us. Kubota are a major player in this marketplace with an ambitious growth strategy which we hope we can assist with impactful communication campaigns for them next year.”   

Y&R Thailand has won some major clients this year, such as Swensens, DTAC, Ray Ban, and Mai Tan. It is also extending its reach across Asia, by developing some of its existing Thailand campaigns for new markets in the region like Bacardi in the Philippines and Vietnam; and Swensens in India.

Siam Kubota is a company with businesses in the agricultural machinery sector. It is a joint venture between Kubota Corporation (Japan) and Siam Cement Group with an aim to enhance its business potential to be the leader in agricultural machinery in Asia.
