Yasmin Ahmad in recovery

KUALA LUMPUR- Yasmin Ahmad (pictured), the ECD at Leo Burnett Malaysia, is recovering after suffering a stroke.

At a press conference last night at Damansara Specialist Centre, where Ahmad underwent surgery, her brother-in-law confirmed that she was in stable but critical condition. 

Ahmad suffered the stroke during a meeting in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.

As well as her advertising career, Ahmad has directed a number of films, starting with Rabun in 2002.
