Wunderman acquires digital shop Comwerks Interactive in Singapore

The acquisition means that Comwerks Interactive's client portfolio, which includes eBay, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Law, People's Association, National University of Singapore and Singapore Turf Club will be under Wunderman's management.

The move extends Comwerks Interactive's offering in customer relationship management and data management. Comwerks Interactive will align with Wunderman Singapore, allowing it access to global and regional resources and clients like Dell, Microsoft, Nokia and Xbox.

"Comwerks Interactive has demonstrated a remarkable success and growth in Singapore. We are excited at the range of capabilities we are bringing to our clients. Our combined capabilities will push us into the top five digital agencies in Singapore," said Stephane Faggianelli, president of Wunderman Asia-Pacific.

The Comwerks Interactive acquisition is Wunderman's most recent step in a process that began four years ago, punctuated by the acquisition of Agenda in 2008.

Recently, Wunderman added Krishnan Menon and Ian Chau to strengthen its Singapore office. The regional account director and digital director will drive the business growth while overseeing their current portfolio of clients.
