Wee Kim returns to BBDO/Proximity Singapore as creative director
Wee was previously with the Omnicom agency from 2004 to 2007. His first job in advertising was at Batey Ads in 1992 and he has since gone on to work at Bates141, DDB, Leo Burnett and McCann Erickson.

Farrokh Madon, ECD of McCann Erickson Singapore, said: "Wee Kim has made a great contribution to McCann Erickson. I wish him all the best for his future as he embarks on a new stage in an impressive career.”

Jean-Paul Burge, CEO of BBDO/Proximity Singapore, said: “I’ve worked with Wee Kim in the past and he is a great talent. He joins a senior creative team that have developed highly effective and creative work for some of the top brands in Asia.”

Danny Searle, chief creative officer and chairman, added: “Wee Kim was the one that got away. While previously at BBDO Singapore, he did amazing, award-winning work on accounts like Wrangler and KFC. He was brilliant at nurturing young talent. And he's a jolly nice guy to work with. Naturally we are all very pleased to have him back. The combination of Wee Kim and Bridget Taylor is a very exciting prospect.”

In October, Ogilvy & Mather Asia-Pacific appointed BBDO’s Juggi Ramakrishnan to the newly created position of deputy regional executive creative director.
