Waggener Edstrom appoints China digital strategies lead

BEIJING - Jason Zhan has been appointed Waggener Edstrom’s digital strategies lead in China

Jason Zhan has been tasked to lead Waggener Edstrom’s digital communications arm Studio D in China. He reports to Nathan Misner, head of WE Studio D in Asia-Pacific. He is based in Shanghai.

Zhan brings to the WE Studio D China team a deep understanding of consumer insight and the emerging social media landscape. Before joining WE, Zhan worked at Razorfish, where he consulted on digital strategies and managed a team of social media specialists for brands including Nike, L’Oréal, Dior, Microsoft Corp. and Autodesk.

“Jason’s experience and expertise are a perfect complement to WE Studio D’s extensive global resources,” Misner said.

“He has the leadership skills needed to deepen the impact and effectiveness of our clients’ digital communications. Our priority is to provide clients with integrated solutions that blend digital strategies and tactics into the broader communications offerings.”
